And you will never find Tia or Freddie without Quincy nearby.

Fact #3 Turkeys also know and recognize each other's unique voices. When the turkeys are any distance from each other, you can hear them chirp to each other calling everyone back together. And at night, if one of the females is hiding on a nest, both of the other turkeys will call to them letting them know it is time for dinner and bed. And this seems to do the trick.
Fact #4 Turkeys are very protective of their family and watch their babies as a group. While we've never had babies here at Life With Pigs (there are far too many turkeys already needing rescuing), we do see daily how Quincy watches over his family. He is very protective of them and never lets his guard down when anyone new is in the yard. But, in the wild, turkeys will watch over the babies born to their family jointly ensuring that they keep everyone safe.
